What GP report (GPR) means
If your application mentions a condition the insurer needs more detail on, it may ask your GP for a report, with your consent, under the Access to Medical Reports Act. You can ask to see the report before it is sent. GPRs are the most common reason applications take weeks rather than days, so responding quickly to any surgery queries helps keep things moving.
