Terminal illness benefit
What Terminal illness benefit means
Almost all term life policies include terminal illness benefit at no extra cost: if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness and, under the policy definition, expected to live less than twelve months, the insurer pays the sum assured early. The money can then be used while you are still alive. Policies usually exclude claims in the final 12–18 months of the term.
